Howdy Y’All…Let’s Go For A Walk About On A Beautiful Morning In Juniper Canyon…

Howdy y’all…lets go for a walk about on a beautiful morning in Juniper Canyon…its a bit brisk but the sun is out!

It’s a beautiful morning…doo-doo-doo-doo…

Think I will go outside and just smile 🙂

Just take in some clean fresh air…ahhhh.

Aint no sense in staying inside…

It’s your chance to wake up and plan another brand new day….either way its a beautiful morning…doo-doo-doo.

Did anyone recognize the above lyrics…a few of the words may not be right but that was the song in my head as I wrote:)

“It’s A Beautiful Morning” by the Little Rascals.

Here is a little rascal herself…Kiah says yeah…come on let’s go feed the horses!

“Did I hear…hay?” Melody is all heart…I love her eyes…so big…soft and pretty.

I’m coming girls…hang on…the hay is coming.

Fannie My Annie is playing peek a boo…

Remember this is “Fannie Annie”…chick a boom chick a boom…she is all Fannie!

Mel is sending me deep equine thoughts…”Look deep into my eyes…give me some apple treats and a good rub…keep looking deep into my eyes.”

By the time we finished feeding, the sun was fading and a few clouds were rolling into Juniper.

I went looking for interesting shots as the light was good…I love figuring out what to shoot and how as I learn this art of my heart.

Gray reflections of life in the puddles of black and white…all part of my life…in the wintry light.

Today we are faced with stark winter views that stretch into the horizon…yet as time spins by…soon warm spring days and flowers will bloom with vibrance and new life…as once again the cycle repeats itself.

In the mean time…Melody says “Hey the wind of winter is starting to blow again…I need my sweater.”

From a sunny blue sky to a silvered shade of gray…ripples and dapples of time slowly march across this puddle of earthy color.

“I luv ya Ms. Melody…I’m getting your ear muffs and coat:)”

Have a warm sunny day and if it is a dappled gray day outside…then stay nice and toasty warm on the inside…spring is a coming:)

Toodle-ooo and ta-ta for now:)

Hi there! Stopping in to take a peek at your blog since you were nice enough to take a peek at Sam’s. Love your photos (and your excellent choice of WordPress themes…tee hee…). I went back through many of your posts and it seems we have some “life philosophies” in common as well as a few similar health experiences. Life is constantly changing – but it’s all as good as we make it ! Thanks again for visiting me and my wild boy Sam.

Hi and thank you for checking my blog out too. I do plan to write a full Minnie report one of these days soon…I know Sam would like to hear more about her. Minnie is a character let me tell ya…she is the only kitty that I know of that will fetch her kitty ball and bring it to you to throw again…she has her own cat TV videos and loves to watch them…and if I leave to go anywhere she gets very sad and upset…I have a house sitter just for her…and when I come home she will snuggle and be so happy but usually will leave me a present somewhere just to say “Hu..rumph…how dare you leave me”….she is the queen of my heart, life and house and could not imagine a day without her here with me…we have been through lots of life together. My hubby loves her too and we often tell each other well maybe we should just have had Minnie and skipped having kids LOL! I love your blog and hearing about very cool Sam! I agree too that Life is a journey and never boring…and always way good:)

You’re right! Sam and I both would love to hear more about Minnie – Sam used to “fetch” when he was little and return whatever was thrown for him to fetch. Nowadays he has other games he prefers (involving less running!). My husband and I have no kids so Sam is obviously “one spoiled cat”. He’s twelve years old and a polydactyl (extra toes on front paws). Love your ranch – beautiful horses – lovely landscape…..looking forward to following your blog!

Thank you Pam and Sam…now a few rubs and pets for Sam…I have some great pictures to share of Minnie…she used to hate it when I was on the computer as she did not like the office…she would meow and meow at me to get off the dang computer…two years ago I got her a heating pad that I sandwich between a wool blanket…she has always loved the scratchy feel of wool…and now she lays here with me all day and night if need be….it is her chair thank you very much…and when my husband and I are out in the other rooms of the house and she senses we are headed to the office she races a head of my husband to get the chair first…my office is not that big but I have her chair and also her old rather tall scratching tree with a couple of levels on it…she still uses it but likes the chair and heat pad much better…she must be Sam’s sister as she too is “one very spoiled kitty girl” and very much loved. I am looking forward to following your blog too….I mean “Sams”…:)
