August introspection is slowly settling into my heart once again as summer is winding down…soon it will be going going gone…summer this year disappeared too fast!
It reminds me how quickly the years fly by…how life passes on faster than we want…which means we either grab on or hang on.
I will grab on and ride on!
August is my birthday month…a time of gratitude and a time of thanksgiving for the life that God has given me.
Each birthday brings me to a place of self examining…how can I improve myself…what do I need to change? We will never know it all and we will never be perfect people…I am not perfect at all, I am more of a klutz with a good heart! I love to learn new things to improve myself…and I love to write and to capture lifetime photos:)
August weather can be unpredictable…you never know what is brewing…such as today’s forecast for severe thunderstorms and lightning and…
I will be watching and grabbing images of the storm to share with you all:)
Usually August will bring summer’s last hurrah…a week of 100 degree days with very warm nights.
And you’ll find me clicking away as much as I can, trying to grab the remaining summer we have left. Late August brings many enchanted evenings outside…
Perfect for photos that bring much delight! And as I look up to the heavens, I stare in wonder at the magical colors displayed above me.
I love living here…never a dull moment…always something that brings life to your heart:)
I wanted to share this interesting photo with you as I have never seen anything like these clouds…you may need to click on the image to bring it up so you can see the ethereal but enchanting clouds…they look a bit transparent and yet they look like lace in the sky or voile…beautifully odd but very interesting!
And as I swing through life…I trust Him who holds the ropes to my life…I look up and laugh for He has me in His hands:)

hello HRCG it is another cloudy & cool day here….brrr…
The Sun was out for 2 hours this morning so Nylablue did have some Condo time. Then it clouded over so we both came in. As long as it does not snow all will be well, hahahaha!!!

Thank you:) My hubby took that…he will like hearing that:) I did not have it planned, I was enjoying the magic time light and was busy clicking away…my shirt ended up being almost the same color as the wheat stubble…I do love this time of year in the evenings as the shadows and colors are truly amazing….and the quiet peace adds to that.

Autumn has arrived early here, much to my dismay. But cool mornings are giving way to sunshine. I am working this weekend. It s a long weekend as we have a Bank Holiday on Monday, but I hope to get to das Boot for the middle of the week.

Yes here too Autumn is in the air….we usually will have a few more weeks of 85 to 98 degree days.Fall is beautiful here…but lately it seems that every season passes too quickly and time is fleeting. Happy 1 year Anniversary to you & Ellie Belle being together!
Time is manmade so I keep hearing. Still it flies quickly. Hard to believe it is already August. Our Summer took forever to get here after a long 6 month Winter. I think the long Winter made Spring & Summer feel liek they were shorter. Does that make sense???

I’m not an August person, but have to celebrate it as my husband’s birthday is in August, too.
Love the picture of you against the scenery. We have had the oddest clouds/skies recently, too. One of the things I tell new moms or people feeling beat up from life is to get out and greet the sunrise and never miss a sunset. Somehow those put things in perspective and settle.

Yes even though August is my birth month, I am not a huge fan of the month as it signals the end of summer…and I love summer but I do love fall too…but hate to see summer go! I try to capture the clouds/skies too as the last two to three years our weather has changed…not sure why but it has. I love sunrises and sunsets…beautiful beautiful time of day:) Ellie wishes she lived closer to Molly too:)

Hi there…thank you as always for your support and words:) Hoping this finds you doing much better health wise…life here has been moving so fast I can not keep up on my writing etc. We have been resurfacing the 1000′ patio this last month so that has kept us busy…a good friend who retired, is a professional engineer and knows concrete, has been helping us…his wife loves to cook and is a professional cook so the last month I am learning much more about cooking and the patio is looking good:)

I am glad to hear that you are progressing with your healing:) that is good news and such a positive feeling:) Things are going well but…seriously my life is not perfect…we have stuff like everyone else…we try hard to look at the glass half full yet instead of the half empty…but often that takes a decision on our part…and sometimes that is hard! Hang in there and know I am praying…thinking of you and hoping for a complete recovery…and much happiness with lots of good stuff:)
