“Caterpillar Cat is Morris The Cat!”
It was an early summer evening, close to magic time, when I captured this cute shot of Morris cruising our Caterpillar tractor!
I knew I had to share! I took this shot with our old now, but new back then, AE-1 Cannon camera, around 1987.
Morris was one cool cat kitty…who loved to explore everything with Cattitude!
I hope everyone had a beautiful holiday season and a Merry Christmas!

He sleeps or rather lets me sleep until 6 A.M. I get him his breakfast & go back to bed until 9-9:30 when “Alarm clock” Siddhartha again drops ‘mousies’ on me or walks over my head!!!! Funny boy!

Mingflower loved ‘orange boys’! Her boyfriend Monty was a big orange boy like Morris!
And Nylablue loved all machines CATERPILLAR….especially the Loader that used to do snow removal here….
Siddhartha Henry appears to have no opinion on orange boys or Caterpillar machinery….he just wants to play with his toy springs, hahahaha….
Hope 2016 is peaceful so far…lol…Day 2….

P.S.: Love Minnie Mouse’s ornament! ❤

🙂 I’m so glad that you enjoyed them as Morris was quite the Cat:) He was such a sweet character and loved showing up in the oddest places! We took a load of ranch equipment to a ranch almost 300 miles away….WB drove a truck in front of me with a load of corral panels and since we were going to stay down at the ranch a few days I had the pick up with the camp trailer behind me…we left early that morning and stopped a few places along the way…we got to the ranch after dark and got the trailer set up…and we stepped out of the trailer and heard a kitty meowing…we squinted our eyes in the darkness and WB said that cat looks like Morris and I squinted my eyes more and “yep, it was Morris, the traveling cat”….he hitched a ride on either the trailer frame or the truck or the pick up…no matter what he was precarious and when you think too that we stopped at least 3 times and he did not jump off and disappear…he was lucky and so were we! Called home and the son who was his owner was 15 and beside himself as he could not find Morris…we comforted his fears and Morris rode home with me in the back seat of the crew cab pick up…well he actually rode in the front with me too:)

I’m so glad that you enjoyed seeing Morris…he was very much “Morris the Cat!” Our son loved Garfield so when we brought Morris home he was elated:) At the time on Saturday Night Live they had funny spoofs on Tounces the Cat…Morris may not have looked like him but he loved to hitch rides with neighbors if they stopped by to visit…and often when we went to town we would get about 2 miles from home and see Morris in the rear view mirror peering over the tool box in the back of the pick up…he was a character:) I loved capturing him on our tractor! I have missed you and Sam….I hope this next year to get back to writing and blogging…and photographing…I miss it much! Happy New Years and Hugs:)
