Snowmageddon Winter

The winter of 2016-17 will go down in the books this year!

We begin with mid December when Lady Winter was ramping it up…

And she snowed…and snowed…all dang day long throughout January 2017!

dsc00255

Dotty and Ellie preferred watching TV, trying to sleep a bit and getting caught up on their shows…

dsc00018

Lassie, Mr. Ed, Caribbean Homes and Life’s A HOT Beach anywhere but here…Help!

dsc00205

And the sky continued to fall with more snow…lots of snow!

dsc00275

Adding a bit of drama each time with a tad bit of…

dsc00299

Artistic wind whipped drifts…make that Holy Cow drifts!

dsc00085

“So, Ellie, what do you think?”

dsc00295

“I think Dad’s shop is buried!”

dsc00301

“Yep it’s buried and so are the barn doors!”

dsc00303

“Holy Cow, can you see him? Dasher looks stuck against the building…lets go help him”

dsc00296

“Dotty…I have never had snow up to my belly before…WOWIE”  “Ellie, I still don’t have snow up to my belly…cuz I’m bigger…snicker ha-ha-hee-haw snicker!”

    Love that 68 Chevy P-Up! I am a staunch GMC/Chevy girl!!! ❤
I am glad all the dogs are getting along. They are in heaven on earth being with you & WB. And I am glad you had a good Winter. Ours never got very cold & the Viruses are mutating & travelling all over the place. It has not gotten below -10 Celsius which is not really COLD for here.
This old planet is in trouble & all of us on it. Sorry, I am a bit down what with the Sinusitis & Bronchitis….. 😉

Look at all the snow HRCG!!!! You sure did have Snowmaggedon there!
Our Winter was odd: we had lots of snow but few snow storms. Now we are in a warm-up this week. It is supposed to cool off overnight (Thursday) & snow on the weekend. We shall see.
Ellie & Dotty look so happy cavorting in the snow. Love that yellow truck; it is a real beauty!

      I know it was LOTS this year! I don’t mind driving on snow but don’t care to drive on ice…I seriously went one month without leaving the place! Good thing I stock up when I can:) It was nice to just stay home and watch the weather out the window! I am glad we have had some cold temps too as we needed it to get rid of bugs…have seen more and more the last few summers as its been a good ten years since we had a winter. Growing up we had lots of winters and snow…Ellie and Dotty do have a great time don’t they! And Fly fits right in with them as they run laps around the house! Each one has a different personality and they are all so very cute. Right now Dotty is struggling a bit in that Fly has attached herself to WB like Ellie is to me and Dotty had attached herself to WB too..so now she gets lots of love and hugs from both WB and I:) Animals are so incredible and they do get their feelings hurt too as you know….the yellow truck is WB’s parts running truck and every time I go with him we gets lots of thumbs up as you don’t see many 68 Chevy P-Ups and this one is very stock…fun fun! {{{Love You and Mr. Purrince}}}

WOW! tons of snow. Lovely snow photos. You’ll have to get a snow plow to dig you out.

You win. You have WINTER. We’ve got little dogs, now that the others have all gone, so we have to get out there and dig them room to move. But warmer weather is coming. For you too! Stay warm. Be happy.

Wow……that is a HUGE amount of snow! We have seen BARELY a couple of inches all winter long and even that didn’t stick around – we’ve had totally weird Virginia winter weather – temps anywhere from 18 to 72. Anyway, no complaints about lack of snow here but you have WAY more than your share! Stay cozy and warm!

It has been a huge amount of snow for us…we escaped winter for several years with little snow until this year! I have enjoyed the photo opportunities and the dogs! They keep me laughing! And today I smelled spring in the breeze…its still cold and we are to have more winter weather but…the smell of spring made my day! Hugs and prayers and more hugs:)

It has been a interesting winter for sure! And the snow has been several holy cows! I stayed home for a full month…I always stock up on stuff and the bad roads were not worth it. I smelled spring in the air today which made me smile…we are to have more cold weather etc. but spring will come:) I will try to send some of the snow to you:) Hugs:)
