I’m back…I’m back…yep I am!
From the adventure of surgery and I’m feeling like me again!
And I hate this part as I feel good enough to do more but my body says “yeah right gf, go ahead and try”…so I’m taking it slow.
But doing more each day…grabbing life and as usual hanging on tight for the ride of my life! It always feels dang good too…that ride thing on my horse’s back:)
I am truly sorry for being so long in posting a new post…I have thought of you all daily but I have been too tired to do much of anything.
And last week we had a severe weather alert…and a tornado warning….scary yes and whoa…tornado?
Here in this corner of Eastern Oregon we do not get tornadoes…ever…and now it is becoming a common experience each year with a tornado alert!
OK Kansas., now quit that…you can keep the tornadoes and we will keep our peaceful fluffy white clouds along with the man in the moon each night!
And we have hit over a 100 degrees already…unheard of in June here…another record and a first…not good for the wheat at all!
And I’m back…all is well and all is ok! I have tons of pictures to capture to make up for lost time and posts! Hang on and know I am not going anywhere! Wishing you all a wonderful evening with good stuff from me…
HRCG, Ellie, Melody, Dasher, Tucker and Wild Bill we’re over and out for now…but not for long!

My original attempt to post something every day is no longer practical. I’m 67 now and just don’t have the drive to get out there every day taking my pictures. New England Summers have proven to be hot and humid and I don’t have air conditioning.
Retirement agrees with me in that I have all the time in the world to do anything, as long as it costs nothing. I now must save up for a haircut, or a tank of gas, or food on my table. I don’t mean to complain it’s just a different lifestyle than when I worked at Intel and had $1700 paychecks. Now my social security and pension together equal that.
At least I have all my camera gear and my trusty SmartCar! LOL

Welcome back HRCG!!!! I am so relieved to see you back blogging! I’ve been praying for you ALOT!
Tornado alerts & hot temps where you are? Definitely the world has turned on its’ axis. That last Tsunami really changed our world. We too have had Tornado alerts & we have not had nearly enough rain…the grass is already turning brown.
Despite it all; we soldier on right???
Ellie Belle is looking wonderful as is Melody. I bet you are glad to ‘be back in the saddle’ so to speak!
Your photos are beautiful as usual>such spectacular views & clouds you have……
As for us: Siddhartha Henry is turning 2 yrs old July 9th. He is finally calming down….
I am down with Flu/Cold virus & it has been a whole week….still recuperating. at least upright & able to visit friends here!

Hi there Sherri-Ellen and Prince Siddhartha Henry:) Its so good to read your kind words and know that life is going well for you and the Purrince:) The weather is so odd anymore world wide it seems…currently here we are avoiding the over 100 degree heat and instead have been in the 80’s or high 70’s…and for July that is off but it does make for nice warm days!I’m sending prayers your way for healing so that you can feel 100% again…this year has been rough for you with health issues….so not fair, and I know at times you must get tired of not feeling well…hang in there ok and be sure to take good good care of you:) We all need you very much:) I know it takes time to recover as I am finding out…I am thankful that my health is good and my energy is slowly returning. I go one day and the next day I rest…taking it slow and steady:) Sending hugs and prayers for you and Siddhartha…take good care and take it slow as you can:) Love Ya and Happy Birthday to Purrince Little Man Cat! Hello HRCG!! Sorry it has taken so long to reply. Recovery has been slow plus I have been harassed & threatened by another tenant (male, off meds & drinking). There have been 2 episodes & 1 almost episode. I called Housing & local Police. they put man in Psyche Ward for mandatory 72 hours. He came out this past Friday. Living in fear is no fun. I am beyond worn out & frustrated.
My ex wanted to come into town & talk to the tenant but he is on Probation & I did not want him to risk a confrontation & end up in jail over me. I wish he was able to stay with me for a few days tho’. It is hard being alone all the time wondering when the next episode will happen.
Happy belated 3rd Birthday to Ellie Belle! I totally forgot & I apologize.
Siddhartha Henry turned 2 yesterday. I hope you get to see his blog; so many nice cards made for him. And today he posted his ‘Unccle Sammy’s’ card an a cute selfie. I can’t believe how grown up the littul Purrince is now!!!! WOW!!!
Our weather goes between cool & cloudy (yes) & hot & humid (no)….I am glad your Summer is not as brutal as last year’s!

Hi Marcy – have wondered if you were alright – surgery? That will keep you down and out for a while for sure…..I do hope you’re OK now? Not to pry but I hope this wasn’t cancer-related as you and I share some of that kind of history…..!! Take your time getting your strength back – enjoy lots of fresh air and quiet fun – I hope you and your hubby are going to have a nice peaceful summer “home on the range”…………..

Hi Pam and Sammy:) No the surgery was not cancer related…thankfully! I have been blessed with good health, and this year I celebrated ten years:) Funny how fast time goes…overall my recovery is going well, but boy it does take it out of you! I seem to get tired quickly yet but it is getting better…and I have taken short walks with my camera so I know I am on the road to recovery! I go as long as I can go then I just rest…taking my time:) Sending you hugs and special thoughts…wishing you and Sammy a special day today and a peaceful summer too:) I do love the nice warm days…and sunshine blue skies above:)

Due to insurance approval…seems anymore they have to approve getting treatment for anything…my surgery was not planned when we got the go a head. My surgery came out of a surgical issue from 2010, I was nervous and kept putting it off and then this year, I am officially a 10 year survivor so I figured it was time to finish this last surgery…and I hope it is the last one for Wild Bill too…he has waited many long hours during some surgeries that took hours and hours. This one took 9 hours but at least it was not 18 or 20 hours! I am about a month out now and it took time and lots of rest to re-group…its good to feel like me again:):):) Sending you hugs:)
