A quiet reverence of snow falls softly on the land…as life holds its breath.
There is something about snow falling out here in the middle of nowhere that brings a silence of holiness…as time seems to stands still.
Silence fills your heart with purity as the small white flakes fall quietly around you.
The silence brings sad memories too of loosing my sweet kitty girl, Minnie Mouse a year ago yesterday…
While I know she is safe and someday I will see her again,
I miss her presence and her sweet spirit…
Her beautiful green eyes and her kind kitty girl heart.
Tonight as I write it is super cold, with icy roads and fog that drifts in and out of our canyon.
Old memories come back each holiday season as I miss the loss of relationship with family and miss those who are no longer with us. I miss the old days…and the old ways.
I hope that you all have a wonderful turkey day tomorrow, with lots of good stuff…new memories, good food and always lots of laughter. The second turkey we cooked on our Traeger….oh my, it is darn good! Whoo-Hoo and so easy too! If you don’t have a Traeger yet, get one as they are worth it!!! Everything you cook on them is absolutely delicious!!!

Woo-Hooey! We have snow again tonight…about 3″ so far…winds are blowing so we will see. I am suppose to head to town in the morning, its 20 miles away,I have four wheel drive so I can do that as long as we do not have freezing rain!

I love snow for the season of Christmas but all ours melted quickly…we have had lots of snow storms but nothing has stayed very long…and like you its cold, windy and rainy…we need the moisture so not complaining as last years drought was bad…but the cold and the wind is yukky!

Thanksgiving is a nice holiday….no matter when we celebrate.

Thank you so much…it is hard sometimes as I miss her so much…but I know she is now well and forever young at heart playing and having a great time….and someday we will see her again and I can hold her and love on her…that does help as I’m sure your mommy would say the same…sending you lots of kitty pats and loves…you both are so sweet and precious…and very beautiful too:) Hugs and loves to you both from me and hugggsss to your mommy too:)

I know…time seems to speed by quicker and quicker…she was incredible and so smart…she always seemed to understand life and she knew where I was at in life. I miss her every day as for 20 years she was always there. Love and Hugs and thank you much for the pawkisses and for thinking of me….wishing you a wonderful turkey day and a peaceful night…
