We have a skiff of snow yet and it is cold…suppose to have more snow this week…we’ll see. I feel bad for the weather guys as our weather is off and weird…not our usual Pacific NW weather at all. Loved that movie too…made me laugh and I love that:)

We have above average temps & lots of wind here also? What is the world is going on HRCG???? So very weird.
I KNOW you need rain & we need snow to replenish our water supplies also.
Plus it does not feel Christmas-ey at all with no snow 😦
    I miss snow! LOL…

I agree that our weather is way off everywhere…I miss our winters here too as we always got snowed in for a few days until the county road grader would come by. Now we are lucky to get a few inches of snow at best and it melts right away:(

Breathtaking sky photos HRCG!!!! You truly have an eye for taking photos!!!
Our weather has been a bit weird out this way also. Above seasonal temps most days & no frost? We have had a lot of rain tho’. Just not sure what sort of Winter we will have. Maybe a mild Winter…that would be nice for a change…..

We have yet to have a real frost here or any snow that stuck around….very odd for our neck of the woods. I could send you rain tho’…..
I love how you capture the beauty of Nature. I try but my photos are nothing like yours, lol…

Our weather here has been off all year….today the snow is gone and we have 52 degrees outside with heavy winds. Our temps are way off for this time of year…and if long range forecasts are correct, our winter will be warmer and dryer….huge sigh as I hope they are wrong….we need rain! And a normal winter:)

I don’t know what it all means either. I’m now in New England watch November with days closing in on 70. These are record highs for the area and everybody is grateful after last year’s record snowfall.

It’s truly beautiful here and the folks living in the Blackstone Valley where I’m at are genuinely friendly and talkative. I don’t anticipate any problem in making new friends.

Glad to hear that you are doing well! It sounds beautiful…someday I hope my hubby and I can visit New England in the fall months. We had a little rain Saturday night and last night we had a heavy frost…currently it is 45 degrees but we have a wind chill too. My flowers are determined to hang in there!

It is a bit weird, but normal weird. November is always a funny weather month. Yesterday it was 70 degrees and an hour and a half later, 45 degrees. Gray in the morning, bright and sunny in midday, then gray as evening came on. Today it has been sunny, gray, sunny, gray, warmer, colder … I still prefer this to winter!

Ours has not been quite like yours as we have had everyday now since September in the 60-70 degree range with nights running at 55 degrees. I can think of two nights we had a slight frost…and no rain or snow. Our farmers are quite worried as our drought has gone on for over three years here where we live in Eastern Oregon. Usually we have fall days in October with lots of cooler temps and lots of rain…November usually brings snow by now and the nights would be cold. I think I remember you mentioning the dryness in your area too…have you gotten more rain? Did it help…as always it is good to hear from you:)

We just need the rain and more rain and more rain….this drought has been going for over three years here so its time for rain and snow…don’t like the wind so much as it dries everything out again….sending hugs your way and also a soft rub to Speedy:)

….same here in British Columbia–and the ‘weird’ is quickly becoming a gigantic worry. Our river is now so low, we can only hope that this is one snowy, wet Winter. Lovely photographs!

Yes it is the same here. We would have had several nights by now of heavy frost and lots of rain in October with our first snow by now. We have heard our area will remain dry with a warmer winter again…we need moisture so much! Its been a three year drought here…thank you for stopping by and for your nice comment on my photos:)

We’ve had some of those weird days too……..much warmer than it usually is – sitting on the front porch drinking iced tea watching the leaves fall – something WRONG with that! But we aren’t complaining – each of those “Spring Days in Fall” is a gift…………..we’ll look back on those when we’re plowing the snow! Love the photos as always.

Thank you for your kind words and its good to hear from you:) We are yet in drought so I am hoping for rain and snow although they say we will have another warm winter without moisture…being a farm girl I feel the anxiety of all this on the farm families around us…so I tired to be silly about it with this post hoping to make anyone that reads it smile:) I think all over the US the weather is off…by now we would have had our first etc. I’m sitting with you drinking ice tea:) Hugs and purrs/meow meow to Sammy!
