In The Golden Light Of Life…I Fall Forward Into Fall!

In the golden light of life,

I fall forward into fall!

SONY DSC

Each year I go through a time of transition between the glorious long days of summer…

Into the golden surreal days of autumn.

SONY DSC

Memories wash over me…as time passes on…

SONY DSC

We do what we ought of instead of doing what we want…

Time passes by and people pass on at the drop of a tear…

And as a warm fall breeze washes over me, it stirs,

SONY DSC

My heart with sentimental memories…tears flow easily as I ponder the whys, whats and woulds…

SONY DSC

Quietly my wind chimes call me back to the present…

SONY DSC

As I fall forward into the season of fall…with a heart full of both grief and gratitude.

Wishing You A Beautiful Fall, Full Of Autumn Colors Wherever You May Be!

I was so depressed & distressed back in the 70’s & early 80’s. Really I just wanted to stop the emotional pain. G-D KNEW that & I believe HE saved me & led me where I was supposed to be…..Plus I realized that my Life was a GIFT from G-D & who was I to try to give that gift back???
I want to be here for a long time!
As for my health I now have Viral Sinusitis & feel crummy yet again……

I can tell you I promised G-D after my 2nd suicide attempt I would NEVER try it again! I will keep that promise despite the Depression; despite my health problems; despite my family abandoning me. I am not always on ‘speaking terms’ with G-D but He KNOWS I LOVE Him & want only to be the best I can be.
I am not ready to go yet…..not by a long shot, lol….
to think I will see Simpson (1st cat); Silky-Auburn (cat); Rebecca (Foxhound); Bogart Sam (Husky/Shepherd; all the ferals & abandoned cats I saved in Hamilton & here…oh & Chiquas (Nanna’s Chihuahua) an Skippy her Budgie & Benny Blue-Skye my Budgie….And the horses I knew….sounds like HEAVEN to me 😉

I have been close to death a few times (3) & I do not remember seeing anyone from my family…
I did see something called the Wo(mb)men…They are very unique looking entities with buffalo type heads & red eyes but they are NOT scary. I met an Ojibway artist up on Manitoulin Island back in the early 90’s & he had done a magnificient painting of them…..I stood in front of it crying…I finally went & offered the artist tobacco & asked him who they were & he told me his experience meeting them when he almost died (car accident). The man looked at me & asked “You REALLY saw the Wo(mb)men??” I told him I had & he said I was “Native in my soul”.
Apparently non-Natives do not see them……I never heard of them nor saw any paintings so the fact I saw them when close to death was pretty amazing.
Now that all my relatives are gone I am sure I will ‘see’ them as I transition….
I hope I can spend the rest of time with 4th hubby Paul…..my soul mate….

I hope that too Sherri-Ellen…both my parents saw their loved ones and Dad even went to a football game with his Dad…very cool:) Heaven will be beyond our dreams…it will be beautiful and we will see all our loved ones and our loved pets. God promises that in Heaven there will be no more tears…that is why to our loved ones that are there already and loved pets too…it will have only been a few minutes before we show up…we are yet here in this world so time is not like Heaven’s time!

My 2nd ex-hubby had a heart attack this past Aug.28th (his 58th Bday) & he almost died. He gave me a message from ‘beyond’….I knew instantly it was from my Father & I was correct! Hubby #2 told me he saw his parents & My Nanna & Mother also….that blew my mind…
To think it will only seem like minutes to them….that blows my tiny mind also HRCG!!!

What a touching & poignant & lyrical post HRCG! What you wrote touched me deeply. It is 20 yrs (Oct.2nd) that my beloved Nanna died & I was preparing to move back to town here. The years have flown by so quickly. Mingflower passed Mar. 2006 & Nylablue Nov. 2014….Minnie runs free wiht them & they watch over us.
Ellie Belle & Melody there for you & ‘crazypants’ Purrince Siddhartha Henry here for me….
    Your photos are gorgeous…..

Wow, we have many things in common Sherri-Ellen…my heart is with you as I’m sure the memories of your beloved Nana tend to wash over you, mine do every year. I lost my Dad Oct. 9th and my Mom Dec. 20th. These months tend to take me back to good memories…but we never stop missing them even when we know that all is well…they are all in a much better place called heaven and God loves them so much. I think this year will be tough for us both with remembering Minnie and Nylablue….while we know they are now safe and not hurting anymore we still miss them so. 20 years ago for you with your Nana, and I know the time flies doesn’t it…my Dad has been gone for 18 years this year and Mom has been gone 17 years…time has passed so fast! Sending you warm hugs from me and also from your Nana…wishing you beautiful warm memories full of love and good times. Your Nana sounds a lot like my parents did.
      Hugs and Loves, Marcy

Thank you:) I have never taken it for granted out here as I truly love where we live…the quiet is amazing, the night skies have a zillion stars that we can see and the landscape has not changed ever. I was thinking about my Great Grandmother and I am seeing the very same view she saw, same hills, same open views…nothing has changed on the skyline either as you can still see forever any way that you look…no people and no cities and no sky scrapers or noise! It used to be more simple out here and that part is sad….everyone used to get together more as a community, the women used to meet every month at different places to plan a community event or plan a wedding shower etc. With the advance of technology and travel sadly we have lost that. I would love to see where you live though too and I bet it is beautiful as well:) Sending you and Speedy lots of loves and bunny hugs:)

I guess you are really getting autumn. We are getting a brown out. No rain all summer. The leaves are just browning and curling up. They keep predicting rain, but all we get is more heat and humidity. The wells are so low.

Yes….we went from hot hot to crisp fall air…have been down to 30 degrees some nights and some at 25 to 28 degrees…..days warm up in the sun but our heat has been on in the mornings as well as WB lite up the shop furnace too. We had a bit of rain, not much at all but it was something the end of August….like you it is very very dry here. Some farmers are dust seeding and praying…there is not much moisture deep in the soil so dust seeding means the seed goes in to dry dirt, if we get some rain great but if the seed can not join up down deeper where there should be moisture then the seed will lay there and freeze….then the farmer has to buy more seed and re-seed it again along with chemicals to keep bugs away etc. Very expensive and a risk. With farmers all over the US struggling with the cost to farm on a good day to surviving a drought…it will eventually affect our groceries….and not the farmer, the middle man gets the price raise for food. Our rivers are low low too and water is becoming a commodity! Hoping and praying that soon rain will fall every where in the US that needs it:) Praying for your well too and sending you both (((gentle hugs)))
