The Hot Rod Part Of Hot Rod Cowgirl Is Still Rocking On!!!!!!
I know I know…as usual I have been running like a crazy country girl here…
Don’t give up on me, as yeah I’m here…me and Ellie have been reading all your blogs:)
I have had a huge writers cramp this last year since we lost our sweet Minnie…it has been tough guys…she was our sweet kitty girl and she loved this time of year! My heart misses her so much…and my writers stuckness comes and goes with many tears…
Do you remember last summer I posted about shooting three different videos out here at the ranch?
Each video showcases one of our customer vehicles, that my hubby “Wild Bill” restored and built.
The videos took blood, sweat and tears with a few cuss words…and now they are live on YouTube!
Each one is pretty cool…and yes the red 1955 T-Bird is mine!

It is an ongoing process (as you know) but it is happening!! he & I have this comedy routine it seems….I think I am the ‘straight’ woman to his crazypants humour…

OH HRCG it is hilarious when we play TAG!! I try to zigzag away from Siddhartha Henry an he is so-o fast…..he has been getting a bit more ‘whappy’ again so I have to slow him down. He is a REAL boy; rough & tumble!!!
Ellie will be 2 already? Where did the time go? WOW…..
I think planting flowers for Minnie is so sweet. I had transplanted wild forget-me-nots last Autumn & the garden is full of them this Spring. They are periwinkle color & some are white….I KNOW Nylablue would have loved them.
Crazypants (LOL) has had such an effect on me. I do not really know how to describe it…..the fact he is the only male cat I have had is part of it. I feel like he is a furry son of a sort. There is something unique about him…he is not ‘just a cat’….he is so intelligent & actually very patient….
He has his wild ‘crazypants’ moments as he does still have that feral streak in him…I think that is part of his allure….I never know whether he will be the ‘littul Purrince’ or ‘crazypants’ if that makes sense???

I can just imagine….love it!!!I can see carzypants chasing you:) I understand what you mean on the effect he has had on you…for one thing you are making memories with him from his birth almost….and I do believe that God gives more ability to connect to humans to some of His animals….that was the way Minnie was and that is now the way Ellie is:) Hugs and Hugs to you and Crazypants:)

Me too HRCG>>> I keep thinking about Nylablue & then Mingflower & I get so maudlin!! Then I engage Siddhartha Henry aka ‘Crazypants’ in play & it he DOES make me laugh so hard. We play TAG also. Now he just taps me w/out claws extended an we chase each other around the apartment. Good thing I am on the ground floor, hahaha!!
He IS growing up too fast for my liking…already 10 1/2 months old. Lost that kitten look & has a ‘little man’ look to him.
We had such a palaver with the 2 level Condo a few weeks ago. So for now he is using Nylablue’s Condo & sitting out in it. I want to get him a large Condo…(actually a large dog crate) & deck it out for him. It would be alot cheaper & easier for me to set up & take down.
I am so glad you have Ellie Belle & Melody to keep you company & of course WB!!! Life is quiet w/out beloved 2 & 4 leggeds!

I giggle when I think of you two playing tag….love how he taps you as that was Minnie…is she wanted something she would tap gently and then if you ignored her too long she ended the tapping with a whap! Always made me laugh:) I know what you mean about growing up too fast…Ellie will be two in June! It is crazy how fast times goes…I spent time this weekend planting shade loving flowers that are bright and so pretty for Minnie…I will forever miss her and never forget her…our heart kitties will always be there and of course we are the same with our four leggeds in that both Crazypants and Ellie will also join our heart kitties in our hearts forever too:) Love you lots and sending huggies and of course some good kitty rubs and loves to Sidhartha Henry:)

Hello HRCG!!! Long time I have been absent!! I apologize. There has been so much happening. Unfortunately one of my Sister-In-Lawss passed away rather suddenly & that hit me heard. There have been other things happening; silly things but I have just found myself overwhelmed getting to 45 blogs….how do people follow 100+ blogs?? LOL…
Now on to your blog post! I love ALL the vehicles there…esp thee ’55 T-Bird!! That is on cool car …’55 was a good year 😉

Siddhartha Henry is growing up more & more. As much as he was ‘crazypants cat’ I wish he could ‘slow down’ with the ‘growing up’! 😉
I know you are missing Minnie alot; it is not easy w/out them. I watch Siddhartha Henry trying to get out of the Condo where Nylablue would just lounge in it….sometimes I think I see her still. Just a trick of the mind I am sure….

It is so good to hear from you:) And I am sorry for your loss, it is never easy whether it is unexpected of known, loosing those we love and care about is hard. I miss Minnie a lot…this was always her favorite time a year with the warm sunny days, lots of tweety birds to watch and she loved sleeping in the sun…I am sure we will always miss our girls and like you I have had flashes of Minnie but know too it was a trick of my aging brain:) It is good that I have Ellie and Melody…I am sure Crazypants is growing up faster than you would like…he is such a good boy, and such a great blessing for you…I love that he is a clown in fur too…that was Minnie and Kalamazoo too when they were kittens and young…..characters and I would often laugh so hard that I had happy tears rolling down my cheeks….they are such a joy:) I’m sending hugs and lots of tender support for all that you are going through….take care and give Sidhartha Henry some loves for me and huggies to {{{{you}}}}

About Minnie … I know. They do not live long enough. Never long enough. One day puppies and kittens, the next, old. She is waiting for you at the Bridge. With all the others. There’s quite a crowd awaiting you!
And those are about the coolest hot rods I’ve seen anywhere. I’m really impressed!!

Hi there gf, it is good to catch up with you…thank you for your kind words. They speak deeply to me…grief is hard work and comes in waves it seems. We are lucky to be loved by our animals but they are easy to love…and when we say goodbye it breaks your heart…knowing though that we will see them again helps a lot!
I shared your comment with our employees and Bill….they all thank you. Believe me, each one of those restorations took a year with hours and hours invested in each one. It is more like an art with what Wild Bill does and when the vehicle leaves the shop for its home, it is like a brand new car in an old body, every nut and bolt have been replaced etc. I have seen Bill do this many times in almost 40 years and I am always amazed!

Its good to hear from you….I have missed everyone! I have been running between keeping up with the office work for the Lab and trying to get stuff done outside when I can for summer….we are so dry here and I have heard we will likely be declared a drought area. It has been in the 80’s already and you can see the crops of wheat drying out, they have lost their deep blueish color and instead are beginning to fade. Our land is in the CRP so we will be ok. My other thing that I did not post about has been Bill’s health. He is ok but they still don’t know what is wrong with him….we have spent a godd three weeks driving to Walla Walla where are doctors are and Bill has had test after test….many lasting all day long. He has had a headache and blurred vision since the first of March and so far no answers as to what and why? That is the reason I have been not blogging….my days are consumed with medical jargon and I am exhausted by the time we get home for the night. He has always been so healthy so we are hoping that it will be nothing big and just something like a new set of glasses!
Missing Minnie is hard….sometimes I almost see her, she loved this time of year…and she would be 20 on Mothers Day. Ellie does try hard to help and she senses when I am sad….then she will make me laugh with one of her silly antics…she is very loving and we both love her…she is such a good girl:) And I know someday I will see Minnie again and be able to hold her against my heart….sending you hugs and thank you both for your friendship:)
