As Dawn Breaks…A New Day Begins In Juniper.
Rays of light sparkle and dance on my window…calling me out of bed to capture the first blush of dawn.
Wiping sleep from my eyes, I throw on some warm clothes and grab my camera hurrying out the door!
Daybreak will soon be exploding into heavenly colors full of majestic beauty.
“God’s Glory” shines with heavenly delight above me as,
Sky colors dance across my lens, filling my heart with strength of heart and a renewed hope!
Hey Min-Min? Psssst…wake up…its almost daybreak:)
Magic time light surrounds me as the silly struggles of life softly fade away…
It’s a brand new day to write a page or two on a clean slate!
Deep gratitude fills my heart with joy…today will be full of good things!
Minnie’s awake…my beautiful green-eyed kitty girl…so very precious to my heart and she is almost 20 years old:)
And its coffee time…Java Java Jing Jing Jing! (My parents sang that tune way back in the early 1960’s)
Coffee? Who needs doffee, I’m wide awake and still on the night shift. Hey Minnie, quit yawning…you silly kitty girl:)
Welllll…Tucker I’m not silly!!! I had the night shift too and Dad snored…kept me and Mom awake all night! Mom, tell Tucker to quit staring at me!
Lets join in and sing Barry Manilow’s song “Daybreak”…I love that song as it puts you in a happy mood! And its Daybreak…ain’t no time to grieve…its Daybreak, if only you’ll believe and let it Shine Shine Shine all around the world…so lets Sing Sing Sing it to the world…and let it Shine Shine Shine, all around the world! Keep singing Barry!
Mom…seriously, look into my green eyes…do I look happy? Tell Tucker to buzz off! Now where is my caffee?

Dear Fozziemum….that you for dropping in from Sherri-Ellens blog about my kitty angel Minnie…your comments hug my heart and we do share the pain when we loose our beloved fur animals…it is sooo hard right now…I find myself looking for Minnie as I expect to see her jump up on the sofa where she liked to hang with me…I miss her so much. Dear Pam and Sweet Sammy…thank you for your tender hearts, your words hug my heart. It has been a rough week and I find tears often as I look at Minnie’s bowls or her toys…everywhere she liked to sleep or hang out with me…loosing our precious animal babies hurts and Minnie and I having almost 20 years was amazing. I know we were blessed and she had good health until the last few months. She did well with having lost her sight as she knew her way around and I am the protective Mommy who often made sure she was ok…the house feels so different without her. I know she will always be with me in heart and spirit, and I know I will see her again one day, but I miss her soft fur and cattitude, her green eyes and her funny little antics that always made my heart smile…I just miss her. Sending both kitty hugs and Mom hugs too…

Hi Dezi and Lexi, you are so sweet to come visit me…I subscribed to your blog and will enjoy reading about both of yous. You are both so pretty and love that turkey begging look:) Minnie had it down really really good…she could tell what we were going to have whether a turkey or a hamburger and once we had our plates dished up, she would come sit and stare at me…she would wait for a bit and then she would gently pat me with her paw and she would wait patiently to see if I was getting her that one bite…if I was slow she would pat me again but a bit firmer and if that did not do it, she would pat me with a pat and a hook…that always worked and I would give her whatever she was wanting…she was so sweet and smart too…and I miss her terribly. Sending gently kitty loves and hugs.

She sounds pawsum. We awen’t so “gentle”. Altho’ we do attempt a beg first, ifin mommy dusn’t wespond quick enuff we just help owselves. MOL a quick paw in da plate and swipe back and it’s ours. MOL Course mommy’s purretty quick at gettin’ hers plate outta da way these days too. So it’s ’bout a 50/50 chance we get what we want when we want it. But mommy’s always sure to give us most everyfin’ we want, and fur sure all we need. We sure hope you enjoy ow blog. 🙂

The last week has been tough without her and I miss her so…she was so special and so sweet, my kitty angel girl and my baby…we were blessed to have the years together and I loved her so very much. We ARE truly blessed HRCG with Minnie & Nylablue. They are both amazing & fabulous felines who have given us so much love over the years.
Altho’ Nylablue has spent only 8 1/2 of her 14 years with me I feel like we have lived 20 years together….we have had that close a relationship.

🙂 Thank you so much….Minnie is our baby even though she is 20 years old…she has been with us through everything and then some…she was my nurse as I recovered from breast cancer and she was our clown when I lost my parents…living out here with coyotes she has always been in the house and of course we feed her good stuff with lots of love:) Always good to hear from you…my other baby is sleeping at my feet, Ellie, our now year old Aussie…she is a character and so cute:) I hope your weekend is restful and filled with good stuff!

I saw the picture you posted of your Thunderbird and was amazed at how closely it resembles the car my best friend’s father bought upon retiring as a lifelong Ford mechanic. It was his bucket list dream to own one and it’s in his happy hands right now. Richard and his wife Micheline live in retirement in Salem, OR.
