The Incredible Ever Changing View Of Life…

The incredible ever changing view of life outside my window is truly amazing…as each season brings unique gifts of the season to us, giving us the gift of seasonal colors in the skies of glory above us and all around us with the beautiful colors displayed on the landscape…and as I gaze at God’s incredible world, I know but I know that God is here:)

I have been a bit distracted from writing with the holidays and life, but I’m back…I didn’t leave the blogosphere planet…I’m here hanging out while taking it all in as I watch the diverse weather while enjoying the life outside my window:)

DSC05658

Pretty huh? I love this amazing world we live in…

DSC05672

How it can change in a minute…from foggy days to God’s glory in the sky above…

DSC05698

With jaw dropping sunsets full of majesty and brilliant colors…with clouds that morph into vivid displays for my camera.

DSC05727

Surprise surprise surprise…the very next morning…we had snow!

DSC05790

Of course…my horse Melody chooses to stand out in the snow and wind…never mind her stall is ready and waiting for her:) I think she wanted me to capture her picture in the blizzard of 2013!

DSC05883

This was New Years Day during magic time…at the end of daylight for that day. It was interesting as we had fog around us on New Years but we managed to stay in the sunshine and blue skies above without fog…and at the end of day it threatened to come in on us as you can see behind the hill but God shone a golden light from heaven on the top of the hill and made a heavenly golden crimson color…and the fog never came in that night:)

DSC05596

Hey look who dropped by to see what I was doing? It’s my shadow, Miss Ellie who is growing up…and she is ever so sweet:) She wanted to say Grrrowly-Roofy-Hi! And soon I will do a post on Ellie as she has grown lots but is still a puppy:)

Hang on we are switching gears into a new dimension…here we go! Remember you can click the pictures and they will double in size.

DSC05705

As the headlights on the lone car rounded the corner, they drove into a canyon…above them the skies looked ominous and it was then that they realized they had traveled into the wrong canyon…they were traveling into another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound, but also of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of the imagination…they had crossed into the….Twilight Zone…

HI HRCG: Now Friday & frigid temps & snow again here. it is -12 with windchill of -21 Celsius here which menas temps like yours…brrrr….
I hope you do not lose power either!
We have been blessed so far & no loss of power during all these storms; but then we live in part of town close to Police & on smae grid so ther is always backup power!
I was going to go downtown but not in this weather; watching opening ceremony of Olympics & Nylablue is snuggled in her bed by the rad sleeping…
All is quiet here except for the snow outside!
    Be safe there.

We have alot fo drifting snow here & on our Highways as they do not put up snow fences up anymore…Places like Arthur & Fergus & Mount Forest along Hi-Way 6 are always closed now. In the ‘olden days’ there was orange snow fencing & we could at least limp our way thru those towns to get home to Owen Sound.
I do not venture out either now; except for walking to corner shops & I walk on the road facing traffic…
A dragging Winter would not be enjoyable I am sure….ours has not dragged, yet….it is the intensity & severity that has left us gasping for breath literally!!
Our Custodian spends all day with snoblower…hardly anything indoors being done.
Wish I could send you a few metric tonnes of snow..we can spare it! 😉

Hi there! We have some snow as of last night and today…but they say no more snow after today and instead we are to have freezing days and nights with windchill temps! Yikes! And you have sooooo much snow it is weird how weather patterns work. I hope this finds you and Ms. Nylablue warm and snuggly:)

Hi HRCG it is now Saturay night & it is snowing again; it stopped yesterday & we all went out to get food & supplies…today the place was a quiet as a deserted town.
We do not have these kind of Winters yearly anymore so when we do have a ‘good one’ I enjoy it….however this has been very intense!!
I do not take wild chances anymore; it is not worth it. Such wisdom 😉
Out girls are amazing & reflections of our love manifested I believe.
    Sincerely Sherri-Ellen & Nylablue xo

Meowzers! Minnie was reading with me:) You sure are having a winter winter…I don’t mind driving on snow floor but if it is slushy, forget it and if it is ice, no way. I used to do it often when I was younger as I have always had a four wheel rig of some kind to drive…but always went super slow and it was usually around here on the country roads…now if we had any wind at all we do get drifted in as many of the country roads here have what we call cuts, meaning the land is rolling hills and as the road goes up and down those hills at the top or at the bottom we have cuts where the wind blows the snow across the road. That has not happened here for a very long time, at least 10 years or so. One thing I really do not like is when we have bad weather such a freezing fog as the power lines get heavy and snap…then we have no power to run anything and the main concern I have is for the horses or livestock as without power then no water either for the pastures, barn and the house! We are lucky that we have a propane fireplace that we can keep warm by but we usually have to travel out to fill up water tanks to bring home for the animals. I do enjoy winter to a degree but if it drags on and on with gray sky, that is hard. We had barely a skiff of snow yesterday and it melted by noon and today felt more like March with blue skies! I love the blue but I also know we need rain…so praying for it! Sending you warm hugs and also kitty loves for Nylablue:)

Hi there HRCG…we have 8 FEET of snow now…Nylablue & I just posted a blog with pix! We did have a bit of Sun today but the wind is wild so it is still frigid & the Highways are al closed. Local roads are sloppy & snow covered…it has been a wild two weeks here also!
Nylablue is utterly amazing as is Minnie Cat!! They live because of our love & devotion….I truly believe this…. I remember in October when my friends came from out of town to say their “Godbyes” to Nylablue & here it is almsot February and she is still avlie & doing pretty well all things considered!
    We are truly blessed 🙂

Oh my gosh….8’…wow! We used to get about 2 to 4′ here and when I was in school I loved it as I got to stay home from school due to the roads being blown shut…now we hardly ever have snow and the weather is just weird here.I’m glad to know that you are staying home rather than doing the buck up things! I have found with age it is better to listen to wisdom:) Totally agree with you that Nylablue and Min-Min are alike in knowing we love them and they both know they are very much needed and very much wanted:)

Wow HRCG Ellie is almost 7 months?? Time sure flies! She is so gorgeous!
Thank you for all your prayers! I truly believe between the medication/Vet visits & all the prayers from all around the world Nylablue is stable.
Just last week 2 dogs & 1 cat we know from different dogs went to the Rainbow Bridge….it is like there is dying all around us but Nylalbue is protected in this bubble of love & prayer & continues to thrive,,,I hope that makes sense? I know the other animals were loved also. Just that Nylablue has come so close to death & has rallied….
She in herslef is a true miracle!
{{{HUGS}}} to you, Miniie & Ellie & the horses too from Sherri-Ellen & Nylablue xxxx

Thank you so very much:) I will begin to work on this, hoping to have it posted soon. You are so very kind….and I enjoy your blog, the photos are stunning:) Blessings on a great day a head…and that this year you will be healed of any cancer and infection. Being a cancer survivor myself, I understand the roller coaster emotions…for me I kept my focus on God and believed from the beginning that God was going to heal me…and He did. That was in 2006 and I am healthy and thriving…and mostly surviving:) Keep believing that you will be healed!

oh thank you :-). I plan to go to my mum’s at weekend and I will take some pictures of her horse George for you to see. His field is very wet at the moment from the large qualities of rain the UK have been receiving. Dreaming of your land at the moment – vast and beautiful colours xx Have a good day

Thank you so much:) How fun to visit your mum this weekend and her horse sounds interesting, like his name too:) I had not heard about the UK having too much rain and saturating the ground…we have had that a few times here too and it is not fun, takes quite a bit of time to dry out too. Have a beautiful day and sending you kitty loves:)

The vistas may change – hourly/daily/seasonally BUT one thing remains constant for you out there – it’s always beautiful – even on a stormy and/or scary weather day.
